Vid Svetina is a visual artist and photographer working between analog photography and abstraction. His practice combines traditional darkroom processes with mixed media approaches, often merging photographic imagery with abstract constructivist painting and illustration.
Svetina studied photography at the Srečko Kosovel College of Art in Sežana, Slovenia. His work explores visual simplification as a method of addressing social structures, inner tensions, and everyday anxieties. Through layered compositions on canvas and paper, he investigates the boundaries between image, gesture, and constructed form.
