Hélène Lindqvist (*Stockholm) is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily with painting and sculpture. Her artistic practice is deeply informed by her background in music, translating themes of voice, presence, tension, and emotional intensity into visual form.
Drawing on years of experience as a classically trained opera soprano, Lindqvist approaches visual art with a heightened sensitivity to rhythm, gesture, and psychological depth. Rather than referencing performance directly, her works explore the body and material as carriers of memory, resonance, and inner states. Painting and sculpture become spaces where physical form replaces sound, and silence takes on expressive weight.
Her visual works have been exhibited internationally and nominated for contemporary art prizes, including the ARTIG Art Award. Today, Lindqvist’s artistic practice stands independently from her musical career, forming a distinct visual language that bridges discipline, emotion, and material presence.
